As an architectural studio, we abstain from stylistic formulas and instead, approach every project by means of open-ended inquiry.

Striving to listen to people and the environment, we seek to produce enduring works that relate to community and place, culture and nature.

We realised it is vital to build dialogue with clients with the conviction that the partnership in the co-creation process is key to achieving works that encompass values important to them.

And with our approach to projects outside the traditional framework, we endeavour to explore and inspire possibilities and be the client’s impetus to challenge the current state and work together towards an alternative and desirable outcome.

“We endeavour to explore and inspire possibilities and be the client’s impetus to challenge the current state and work together towards an alternative and desirable outcome.”

PATRICK SIAH

Patrick graduated with an Architectural Master’s Degree from the University of Melbourne in 2012. He dreamt of being an Architect since the age of 7, inspired by Phua Chu Beng, played by Pierre Png from the popular comedy sitcom, Phua Chu Kang.

He believes that Architecture should embody a sensual connection to the user. As his favourite Architect, Peter Zumthor puts it, “In order to design buildings with sensuous connection to life, one must think in a way that goes far beyond form and construction.”

Apart from running projects for Super Assembly, Patrick loves spending time with his wife, son and their golden retriever, Scotty.

ASLAM BIN SALIM
Senior Designer
S. Dip. Architectural Technology (SDAT), BCAA B.A. (Hons) Interior Design GSA

Aslam graduated from Glasgow School of Arts with BA (Hons) in Interior Design in 2018. Prior to specializing in interior design, he was a BCA –Industry Scholar in Diploma in Architecture and SDAT. He has always been very interested in how buildings are "made" and how they "work" since young.

He believes that “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”. A space should not only be the design intent of the designer. It should be allowed to evolve and morph to the user.

A curious and adventurous individual, he does 3D printing and prototyping at home on his free time. A weekend warrior cyclist and an avid motorcyclist, he is never “too tired”.

YANY CHAN
Senior Designer
B.A. Arch, M. Arch

Having recently graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master of Architecture, Yany is excited about the possibilities that practice has to offer. She is thrilled about seeing buildings and spaces come to life as they are inhabited, used and lived in.

Yany believes that architecture is the most interesting when it is influenced by all sorts of things outside architecture itself. She is curious to explore how spaces can tell a story.

Outside of architecture, Yany has a passion for baking and eating bread. She lovingly takes care of her sourdough starter regularly and hopes to one day create a beautiful sourdough loaf.

WAN NABILAH
Designer

B.A. Arch, M. Arch

Having steeped in the academic culture of the National University of Singapore, Nabilah brewed up a master’s degree in architecture and countless cups of caffeine. Much like a good tea, she finds that architecture is an experience of layers and senses which unfold across time.

Intrigued by the intimacies formed between spaces and inhabitants, objects and wear – the networks which underlie any design project, Nabilah seeks a way of living (and designing) that elevates and cherishes the everyday.

With a fondness for trinkets and crafted items, Nabilah decompresses by stringing together beads and found objects into wearable accessories.

ATHEERAH KAMAL
Designer

B.A. Arch, M. Arch

After graduating from the National University of Architecture, Atheerah explored different avenues to expand her creative horizons beyond the realm of architecture; from working at a bakery, sculpting a lifeless dough form to composing lines of milk into coffee art, her creativity draws from using her hands.

Atheerah believes and is gets inspired by architecture through tactility, material exploration and franken-steining things together; where she can mould and feel the crafts of her design.

In her spare moments, Atheerah runs a personal construction site, crafting concrete clocks and wooden tableware for her family and friends.

KEILYN BALANA
Designer

B.A. Arch
Upon finishing her diploma in Singapore Polytechnic, she found herself yearning to explore architecture education further. Not long after she found herself in the University of Melbourne for her bachelors.

From living in various cities from the Philippines, to Singapore and Melbourne. Keilyn experienced the importance of architecture as cultural and social incubators. She also believes that architecture should first and foremost be fun, in terms of process and outcome!

Beyond the profession, Keilyn finds great joy in the mundane, through going to the park with a book and picking at the blades of grass, laying on the floor, or running small errands, inhaling the daily musings of life.

RUBINA AW
Intern

Dip. Arch

Rubina is currently pursuing her Bachelors degree in Architecture at the National University of Singapore (NUS). To her, Architecture goes beyond the physical built environment. It can take place anywhere and be informed by many things. She believes in living more presently, allowing mundanity to inspire thought and question; seeing beautiful things in humble places.

She enjoys slow mornings and night walks. In her own time, you will find her journaling, penning down short little anecdotes of daily life.

GABRIEL YIP
Intern

B.A. Arch, Dip. Arch
Gabriel, a graduate of Singapore Polytechnic with a diploma in Architecture (2020), is currently pursuing his Master of Architecture at the National University of Singapore. It all began when he was gifted a set of wooden blocks.

He seeks to avoid cookie-cutter homes, starting with smaller projects to hone his skills before tackling larger-scale social housing initiatives. Driven by a commitment to affordable and inclusive housing, Gabriel aims to use his expertise garnered to create social housing projects that foster a sense of community and belonging in the future.

Beyond the classroom, Gabriel's heart is drawn to the mountains. He sets a goal to climb a different one every holiday. But when he's back on level ground, he's always on the lookout for new culinary adventures and perfecting his Gigi Hadid pasta. He thrives under temperatures below 20 degrees.
